I'm using a standard Ford trans mount for a toploader. When I upgraded to the Tremec, I had to install a 1/2" spacer between the trans and and trans mount to locate the tail shaft in the same location as the toploader tailshaft. The chassis has the removable crossmember. The adjusting rings are at the bottom of the shocks.The space between the tire and the fender flange is acceptable, but I wouldn't mind being able to close the gap up a little bit. Everett-Morrison bodies seem to be a little high in the rear.

The only difference between our cars appears to be the pinion angle as mine is set up at 0 degrees. I will assume that your trans with the shim puts the trans back to what EM designed for. Thanks for your time comparing shocks.

What are you using for tires and wheels and what offsets did you use?

I have the Versailles 9" axle housing so I need to know if the 3.65" offset with the 9.5" rims is what I need to order from Vintage. I will be using 295/50r15's for the rear and 245/60r15's for the front.
