611,
This thread is not locked-Ron is admonishing Rod and me.
I would not like the advice that Grubby (John) and I offered to be lost from your attention.
The most important part (if you're still going to pursue this one) is to contact ERA and Todd for real information. So far you have popcorn from a guy who just wants your cars and your money-too much for this car in this case. He has no real understanding or data on the car's content which would have a direct bearing on how much it should really cost. He mis-represented the term 'Halibrand' which he's using to justify the inflated price.
No detail about brakes, engine specification or which IRS (there are two possibilities)-all of which have a large impact on the car's worth.
Failing to get hard info from Peter or Todd, I would walk away from this 'deal'-it's a bad one but the car is not. It's just not God's gift to ERA's from a content standpoint as Fleming would have you believe.

good deal

I think its a pretty good deal...a roller without motor is approx $50K...motor trans etc..$15K to $30K...the asking price also includes shipping? that could be a $2K value alone asking $49K less shipping $47K...a running painted ERA for the price of a roller and without the 2 year wait.
