I use to use the Fram canister but now my favorite is the Canton CM filters

I have it mounted upside down in the picture ( inlet is usually the bottom ) . The best part is you can remove the cover and change the filter without making a mess. When the filter is mounted the proper orientation ( unlike mine below ) you can lift the filter out without spilling a drop of gas

These have AN12 straight ports so you will need adapters

Its only about $60 so its inexpensive
