HEY Administrator!...photo gallery spamming...

Was looking around for a place to report spam/hack e-mail, missed it.

OK...noticed there were some new messages attached to some of my photos.

The comments on the photo are from some spammer calling them selves "gucci sales"...lots of standard spammer gibbersish and half sentences.

Occurence was 6/4...here is the url for the photo on my gallery with the attending spam mails. DO not open any of the links.

Is anyone else getting this cr-p? Is there a link for spam complaints here at CC ?

There's a little red triangle near the top right of your post & in the gallery also. I reported mine a few days ago, haven't heard anything back. I'm assuming they already knew about it.

I never saw the red triangle till you mentioned it...maybe more folk will report garbage faster than I did and get blocked more quickly.

That's the way it is with computers. Too many damn little flashing things trying to get your attention

I looked everywhere but here...! OK, here is some spam...no sooner than I posted this, I noticed the sticky...need a seperate topic in BIG LETTERS...for the vision impaired...

The offending comments have been removed from your gallery. For future reference, the "Administrator" you sought attention from in your thread title is Brent Mills, the person whose site you have been using since 2003.

The sticky has been up for several years and is placed in a location which folks have been going to for years when they have questions. A reference to how to report issues also appears in the "FAQ" quick link, a common tool found at most web sites.

I hope this helps you should you have anything to report in the future.

I did not receive a reported post message from you (they are automatically sent to both moderators). In any event, I just finished checking every picture in your gallery and saw no offending comments. Computerworks may have already deleted them.

We do not respond to every reported post after taking action...we deal with dozens each day, hundreds each week and so forth.
