I have the same situation with a 1951 Vincent Black Shadow that I know hasn't run since 1958. It used to belong to the guy's father and although he will never have the funds to restore it and can't even ride a motorcycle, he won't even consider selling.
I think it will just rot into the ground, which would be a really great shame.
