my recommendation is to build one together.
i think, after the expense and time you spend building one - you would have to be a goof to then pull it out on the street, hammer the gas, and crash into a tree.
it would probably be more dangerous to go buy one and drive it - then you don't have a vested interest in keeping it in one piece.
just keep in mind, the cobra generates alot of attention. maybe more so if she is out driving it by herself :O
