Default Got Flipped off by a Cobra Yesterday

I always have choices when I go to car/bike events...do I take the Cobra, do I take the bike (custom harley) or do I take my two boys (3 and 5). Going to car shows with my dad are some of my best memory as a boy.

Anyway I guess I was late leaving a light when i heard a honk. I thought it may have been the Cobra behind me but then I thought no....then i look behind and he is flipping me off. (not passing me though).

Anyway's just venting, I don't know of anytime I am in my Cobra that makes me made enough to flip another driver off....especially while at a car show/cruise. IDIOT!

Maybe you cut him/her off. Maybe you almost hit someone you did not see. Maybe it is someone you knew and he was busting your chops. There are always three sides to the story, yours, the other persons, and the whole truth

Was it the noise or jealousy ?

The only times I've got the finger, or worse, is when I beat a blown pro-street 57' Chevy and when I set off car alarms at 4:00 in the morning headed of to the Hot Rod Power Tour. He was very,......pissed off. He flipped me off and yelled,..."I know who you are and where you live" !

I did feel guilty though.

There is a remote possibility I new the person given I own a Cobra in this city, but since I wasn't driving it, I highly doubt it. I suspect he was just unhappy I left the light late and he otherwise was not having a good day. To each his own. He should be lucky I didn't roll back towards him

uh,uh,so let me understand this, you were not driving your Cobra and the Cobra guy, being a Cobra guy, was slightly annoyed that you in your daily driver did not start when he would have liked you to so he flipped you off.

I'm betting if you were drivin' your Cobra it would not have happened, he would have hoked his horn, given a thumbs up and waved. Wow, that was easy.

Case closed. tin-man

Maybe you should just get out of the way? Sorry if I don't sound too sympathetic but I can't count the # of times that I've sat behind a soccer mom (dad?), a talker, a reader, a cosmetologist, a fine diner, a multitasker, a booger eater, a window licker, or any number of other dipsticks doing something other than paying attention at the traffic signal. During most traffic operations in areas where it's not bumper to bumper these rolling road blocks go unnoticed by most. But when the (insert one of the above fuktards here) is sitting first at a signal, and can't just blindly follow the car in front of them like a lemming, they actually have to pay attention. This is where the various ADD drivers listed fall on their faces and instead of holding up just themselves they hold up everyone behind them as well. In my little area we have some signals that are quite short during certain periods of the day and if the people in line aren't paying attention then it definitely limits the number of cars that can get through during that light cycle. When that happens to me it absolutely annoys the crap out of me and I AM known to let a finger fly. On the rare cases that I am the instigator not paying attention then I expect the horn and finger and try to get out of the way as quickly as possible. In fact I'm embarrassed for being a fuktard and holding everyone up for no reason other than I couldn't get my fecal-matter fully congealed. If I get the odd finger out of that then I wave my meek apology and try not to do it again. I don't blame the people I held up for being annoyed with me. The point is; if you're having an ADD moment at the light and hold everyone else up, don't blame them, they're not the ones being an idiot. Just accept it, move on, and try not to do it anymore.

It's hell being number one, just enjoy the compliment and the positve jester.
Most people are too lazy and lack consideration to visually recognize fellow drivers for their patience and skill when exercising safe driving techniques.
Those that offer up the "one finger salute" are just good people being A**holes.

Smile number one,
Bill

(insert one of the above fuktards here)...copyright lovehamr

Not to get off the subject, Is it me, or does anyone else just LOVE the work fuktard? It is such a nice, easy 2-syllable word that means SOOOO much.. I like the fact that the recipient can take it many ways, depending on which part best describes them....

I'm with you, "fuktard" is a sweet response and describes several of my former bosses. So lemme see here, on one end of the spectrum we got "fine upstandin' gents" and the other we got "fuktards", yep, that sounds about correct. Kudos to lovehamr for developing a new word. Cheers, John AKA, tin-man
