HST built a handful or two of carbon fiber cars. Mine is one.

Yeah, but it's still entertaining. Clubcobra seems like it has been somewhat mundane, and it's good to rekindle a thread that's a little exciting !

Seek first to understand, before starting a war.
I suspect the newbie mistake Bill was talking about was your arguing that they had it all wrong on which was the higher quality replica. Picking a 9 year old thread to start an argument, from an incorrect point of view was just a secondary point.
Now I may have this all wrong, but you might should have made sure before tossing rocks at a fellow member who arguably knows more about the Cobra replica market and originals than than most people in the sport. Not that he needs me to polish his halo or anything.

Old dog, Look man I am not "arguing" with anyone. I dont give a ****e what the date is on a thread. As I said I am friends with Denbeste. He has at least 10-12 of each cobra on this cobra wall. I did extensive research on which car to buy in seeing them my self, talking with Bill Denbeste, and more important Joe the engine builder for shelby engine co. he has personnally built dozens if not more of the vegas cars, the HST mexico cars and the HI-Tech SA cars, I can go into detail of the differences on the three if you like... I was simply stating my educated opinion on the topic. Why do you accuse people of "arguing"? "throwing rocks" perhaps you should put some thought on your comments before "throwing rocks" at me...

Me too.
And all I was doing was relaying the information that was given to me at the time (some time in 2008-2009) by the then-president of Shelby American.

Mike,
You have a point. In retrospect, I did toss a stone your way. I didn't intend it that way. I was a little put off, as I believe you called MrMustang a troll. I find him a very valuable member. For that matter I always had a positive opinion of you too. It wasn't my job or place to intervene. Oh well.
I'm unaware of an unwritten rule forbidding bring up an old thread. It is, however, annoying when someone replies with an answer to a 50 yr old thread (obvious exaggeration) and everyone hopps on trying help someone who died 5 yrs ago. On the other hand, if a thread is relevant to something you need help with that seems fine to me.
Resurrecting an old thread to disagree reminds me of the Country Music song "I'm diggin up bones."
So in closing, I don't want to pile on, antagonize, or otherwise piss anyone off, in these stressful times. Sorry if I did that.
I still stand by the advice to make sure you understand what someone intended to say before getting your panties in a bunch. That's a general statement not aimed at anyone in particular.

Thank You rick, perhaps I am guilty of simply being board...cooped up at home, cant work on my Cobra because my intake manifold is on lock down in New Zeland...
That being said, I have done a tremendous amount of research on the CSX cars, This website is supposed to be "biased" it seems as if lots of people here bash the CSX cars, I have my opinions why but I wont "dig up bones" here... But thank you for your kind words.
