Default "Bill Wells R.I.P."

Bill passed away this morning at 6:45am of cardiac arrest while in the hospital fighting his battle with cancer. We understand that services will be held sometime either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, at Desmond & Son Funeral Home in Royal Oak Michigan.

His wife Sue asked to pass along that no flowers are requested and indicated that instead, a contribution be made to the American Cancer Society
or a favorite charity!

We have lost another very good friend and I know Bill would say, "Enjoy Life and Drive Your Cobra!"

Rest In Peace My Friend We'll All Miss YOU!

Very sad to hear another good Cobra guy has passed.

Enjoyed talking to Bill about his Hertz drop-top clone and seeing him at several events.

Bill Wells was a good friend who was always willing to give advice or help out. We shared a common love of Thunderbirds, Mustangs, and Cobras.
Even as he battled cancer, Bill kept a stiff upper lip, and continued to attend car shows and club events when he was able to.

We've lost another one of the "Good Guys". Rest in Peace, my Friend.

WOW !!! I had PMd Bill about his Mustang "clone". I wanted a car like his that I could drive. I thought it was weird he didn't reply. This is so sad to hear this.

RIP Bill

The memorial service for Bill yesterday was amazing. There was a standing-room only crowd of Ford retirees, Mustang, Cobra, and Thunderbird enthusiasts. Even though it was pouring down rain all day, there were three Cobras and one '57 T'Bird (mine) in the parking lot. It was obvious Bill had a lot of friends and had touched a lot of people in a positive way.

Three of the SCOF guys delivered a tribute to Bill with anecdotes and stories about some of their adventures with Bill. They talked about how much they enjoyed going to the London Cobra Show with him, which was one of Bill's favorite events.

Our friend Bill had an amazing amount of knowledge about Mustangs, Shelbys, Cobras, and Thunderbirds. His enthusiasm, positive outlook, smile and wit will be sorely missed.

Rest in Peace, my Friend.

Jeff
