It depends. When a business plan is written after the fact with assumptions skewed to justify the decision the entrepreneur made before starting on the plan, it is useless. But if the entrepreneur makes realistic assumptions and uses the planning process to see if the business can actually work, it can offer a significant advantage in setting up and operating any business.

It appears that the company in Phoenix based its plans on an assumption that it could sell as many as 100 Cheetah's at around $100K each. I'd love to see the research they did that justified that assumption. If they had a business plan that would work selling 50 cars over ten years at $35K each, they might have had something. But it's hard to make a living selling that few cars at that cost.

I dearesay if it was a cobra company one could buy for $100K and sell replicas of decent quality and sell for $50K and sell 100 of then then a $5,000,000 with costs that wouldd be in the $2-2.5 million you wouldn't have too bad of teh business. Phx is a great location, good manufacturing cababilities and major airport hub.

But I doubt you can find even 50 people that would want something that looked like that no matter how fast it was
