You gents are surely only being half serious.... No?

While I like cobras of all sorts, & I even like the street cobra, surely the SC stands ahead and alone...

If it's a street cobra you want then why not the 289 slabside?

The street big block for mine would come last of the cobra options.
Sorry if I'm raining on your parade.

best wishes & good luck with your rides

Kind of funny from the gang that puts the steering on the wrong side.

For me the factor that says "street" is the hoop bumpers. The quick jacks say "Comp model", the over rides without the hoop bumpers say "S/C model", and the hoop bumpers say "Street model".

Here are a few photos of mine at a recent car show (I was not showing my car, but they had me park mine in the show area for some reason):

I consider my car to be in street trim b/c of the hoop bumpers.

I bought the car already assembled, registered and with slightly over 3,000 miles on the odometer...if I were doing it for myself, I'd eliminate the sidepipes in favor of under car exhaust, or at least the 289 style sidepipes, and I would PERHAPS eliminate the roll hoop (not sure about that, I kind of like the protection, especially on the street where you can't control the actions of others). I like the hood scoop (wish mine were an inch taller), would have it on ANY form of Cobra I were to build, it's just iconic to me.

Cheers!

Dugly

I've said this before, and I'll say it again...

We put the steering wheel on the CORRECT side... which as you'll admit is also known as the RIGHT side.

Even American dictionaries & thesauruses define "RIGHT" to be "CORRECT".

Now as for driving on the other side of the road...?
Yep... That's another story, and we are guilty as charged your honour
