LCS 2012 Raffle Car Tickets Sales are OPEN!

This year's car is a Unique 289, modified to replicate CSX2128 when it was painted in Coventry Motors colors and driven by Allen Grant. Fun trivia fact about the car: the paint on the original car was designed and applied by Allen's crew chief at the time, George Lucas.

In order to replicate the original, Unique (Unique Motorcars) started with their 289 FIA kit, removed the chin oil cooler opening, added standard doors (not cut-back FIA doors), and melded in slab side style front fenders. The engine will be a Patriot Perfomance 347 stroker, graciously DONATED by Patriot Performance (https://www.patriot-performance.com/)! Transmission will be a Tremec 5-speed. Wheels will be Trigo Kidney Bean knock-offs.

We will also be opening registration for LCS 2012 soon!

When do you receive the car? I would like to get some photos from you guy's to add to the flyer for our event at Ford HQ's.

We were shooting for next week so we could have it at the Ford swap meet in Colombus Thansgiving weekend, but I'm guessing it'll be sometime in December. We're still working on getting a few parts.
