Default 427 SOHC Cobra for sale

It's not often that a Cammer powered Cobra comes up for sale. This is a 1979 Kellison that seems to have had some more recent mods that wouldn't be to everyone's tastes. I wonder how long the mighty 427 SOHC has been in the car for?

Other than the Cammer the car is not my Cup-O-Tea. My .02 is, too over the top interior especially in red, same with trunk, undercarriage etc.Can only imagine what the selling price is.Someone out there will spot this car with a lot more money than me and be a proud owner. The Cammer sure looks good either way.

i would bet its in the mid 40's......while it is clean and has the cammer.
i am sure like my 79 it will need an electrical upgrade and major brake and suspension work. they had factory mustang II stamped steel crossmembers and suspension. they are heavy cars, 3000 lbs. very nice to drive on long trips.
the hood is the optional turbo hood, would have had a ford 429 originally, so someone went to alot of trouble to install the cammer. i remember from the auction listing it did have a kellison vin # on the frame besides the CA issued plate, i think it was chassis 67....

We have an asking price of $75,000.00. The car has a Ford 427 Cammer. Please feel free to call us with any questions.

Comfy I'm sure,As I stated .02 worth, not a whole lot only to me.Personally like riding lean and mean, and as close to original as possible. We all march to the beat of a different drummer.

If that car came from Columbus/Belle Fontaine Ohio it might be the one I built the engine for and delivered to Jegs for them to inspect and install for the Doctor that owned the Stallion. The engine made 785 hp on an engine dyno in Hollywood Fl. with a pair of 600 cfm Holleys, the wrong carbs. I delivered the engine to Jegs with the correct 780 cfm carbs.
The Dr. was going to buy a spare engine from me but found that there was no need for it. No I don't have any engines or any parts for the SOHC engines.
