As for my car's engine, I love everything about it. And it is a thousand times more "correct" than what is in that car.

Your missing the point that car is real yours will never be.

Yours is just a kit car or like some like to say PSB (not aluminum)
. You have some nerve critiquing somebody's real Cobra when all you own is a replica.

If it makes you feel any better your not alone as there seems to be a lot of guys out there like you.

Fortunately not many of them own real Cobras.

My car is just as "real" as his. If I were to ever own an original Cobra, it would be a car like CSX2557, not a fantasy recreation backed up by a "piece of paper".

And who the hell are you to suggest that the amount of money I choose to spend on toys determines whether or not I'm entitled to have and express an opinion? You, sir, are a moron.

Those who say that the First Amendment shouldn't apply to another because they don't spend enough money deserve to be called names, or worse.

There is no First Amendment here.... you discuss in a civilized manner.

Thanks

BTW, 2009 has a far more robust race history than 2557

Yeah, too bad CSX2009 doesn't exist anymore.

Get a clue, jeffy! You really think your ERA is "as real" as 2009? You don't know the entire history of 2009 from day one! Are you an expert on the rebuilding of that car? The family has owned that car for over 35 years and was put back together the way they wanted it. These 50 year old plus cars go through numerous changes over their life span. I'll bet very few of them look like they did when Carroll originally sold them. CSX2009 is an awesome car and restored (to the owners liking) to perfection. If you have seen this car in person, (which I have) you might understand. How could you even compare your ERA to this Shelby? You just plucked a feather from your silly little hat!!!

Yeah, they're both replicas. I like mine better. You can call "CSX2009" "real" all day. Doesn't matter. It isn't. It's prettier than before but it is now just a fantasy. Free country, they could do what they want. But you don't paint a copy of a Rothko over a ruined Jackson Pollack and call it "real".
