You know AL people like you should not be in these forums, with some many nice people here you have to tarnish it with insults. You just sound like the idiot who asks how much I paid---This is in fact a very rude question and no one's business, so to one rude idiot a rude answer. I will not lower myself to your level...I got better things to do.

If Al had an FE in his car, instead of that POS SB, then he'd probably be a happy ray of sunshine, like me.

Al's really not that bad, he just comes off that way. He needs to cultivate his subtleties. Perhaps I should take him under my wing?

We don't want him building a 428, so maybe he can be mentored by someone with a REAL FE, preferably in a Cobra in a non-beige color.

Uhhh, you mean my short-stroke (4.125"), 447CID, super-fast revving, super high revving, solid liftered, aluminum flywheeled, FE that just happens to have a 428 block as its starting point? It's more fun to drive when it's built that way. Yep, even Al has pretty much gone on record admitting that he made a mistake with his SBF. If he had it to do all over again he would certainly change his ways.

naw, wouldn't touch a leaky FE, would rather go faster and pull more lateral g's with an aluminum 427w ...
yanno, the motor of choice for the road course racing guys
