Roll bars, seat belts, helmets, fire suits and fire extinguishers. You never want to use them but your glad you have them just in case. It's always good to talk saftey and stay aware of the dangers.

I figure I will be setting at a red light when I get rear ended sending me at an angle into another vehicle which I bounce off of and sideswipe a parked car. As I careen down the highway, I run over a rare jungle cat that had escaped from the zoo (don’t ask) launching me into some unknown object, which upon reflection may have been a fire hydrant as I remember water all over the place making the road very slick, which sent me over the curb and down a long steep ditch which only increased my speed as I hit the road below at an angle, but thankfully the guardrail kept me on the highway. Unfortunately this is where I hit the cyclist and pedestrian who were on the sidewalk talking. I was so unnerved at this point I jerked the wheel to the left and went head on into a Smart Car where I lost control jumping the guardrail and plummeting down the embankment hitting a tree and finally coming to rest upside down in the car.

Guess I'm just an accident waiting to happen.

Silverback, I had the same thought! Except when I'm hanging upside down some idiot will be yelling at me, "LOOK WHAT YOU DID!"

Do you guys drive around with the parking lights or headlights on? I think it helps.

This is a very good idea IMO.

In Canada daytime running lamps have been mandatory on new cars since 1989, but this doesn't apply to kit cars so we Cobra replica owners have to switch 'em on manually.

Cars are soooo much more visible, in all conditions, with their headlights on.

The best kind of collision is the "it was almost a" collision. AKA the COMPLETE MISS!
