found LUbinsky, more or less
On the website AC Originals | Kontakt
I saw that AC Cars is announcing the Mk. VI AC
in Switzerland at the Geneva Auto Show, a car with gullwing doors if you have the roof on (hardtop)/
The funny thing is, I don't read German but I couldn't see Shelby's name anywhere on the site. Like to know if the car is production and the cost.

I could be wrong, but that simply looks like the Swiss dealer's website for AC Cars (Mk VI) to me.

The claims of the company AC developed the 427 is misleading. Besides that, charging for a fiberglass "gull wing top" over $17000 is just ridiculous.
So, if you want
gull wing
stainless steel side pipes
racing stripes
passenger side mirror
side windows
second roll bar
adjustable sway bar
6 point seat belts
you have to shell out $184.304 plus tax 14% (no exemptions in Swiss) and you get a fiberglass car with an GM engine
hahahahaha ![laughing](http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif) ![laughing](http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif) ![laughing](http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif) ![rolling](http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/images/smilies/cwm29.gif)

Vally hast eine kleine panzer-wagen. Und - if you look more closely at the price list you'll see the prices are in UK£. So if you go mad and tick the option boxes you'll have an 'automobile' priced at £188,000 - circa 298 thousand of your American dollars! Roll up.....

AC Automotive - AC MkVI
The Mk VI is one of life's great mysteries. It appears each year at the Geneva Motor Show but appears to go into hibernation until the following year's show.
No one at the AC Owners Club appears to know where the car is on sale in the UK, even though the website quotes prices for 'England'

Quite sure Brooklands can supply if you really really really need one in your life. Nobody's been trampled in the rush as far as I know.
But for that kind of money it's easier to make yourself a chassis, stamp some numbers on it and claim you have the real deal and never mind who owns the original (race) car since everyone knows that old race chassis get changed (even when they haven't). This type of behaviour in the art world is called 'fraud' but in the automotive world it just seems to go on and on, driven by greed. Small rant over (for now)
