Only if it was built in 1965. CA frowns upon having the year of vehicle manufacture not match the actual year of manufacture - in fact, CA considers this fraud.

Do a search on SB100 on this forum, and you will find a lot of information about SB100 as well as the issues of titling a Specially Constructed Vehicle (aka: kit car) as the year is represents vs. the actual year of manufacture.
