I have Carbotech XP-8 (first level race compound) pads on my car; SSBC Tri Power caliper with 13" rotors front and stock TBird calipers and rotors on the rear. This combination provides excellent stopping power with great feeling and modulation.

The XP-8 pad provides very good bite when cold and after they get warm, the bite is excellent. They're not cheap.

Give them a call and they will make a recommendation to suit your needs.
