Please help !!
GUYS, PLEASE when ordering shirts PLEASE include ALL YOUR CONTACT INFO for shipping. I need name, address to send the shirts, your phone # in case I need to contact you.It would also be helpful to include your screen name. We will be setting up a PAY PAL account for this project. As soon as we are ready to produce the orders, I will send a request for the $16.00 per shirt plus any donation ( $5.00 per shirt expected) plus tax and shipping. I also need you to make sure you include SIZE, QUANTITY and whatever DONATION you wish to make. I have several emails that say "put me down for some shirts". I can't make an order out of that. Answering here on the forum is great. It gives everybody an idea of how the project is going. I AM NOT TAKING ORDERS OFF THE FORUMS. You must send me your order through the woundedwarriorsshirts@gmail.com for me to process everything. THIS IS A HUGE PROJECT and I need your guys help in this to make it a bit easier to organize.

Thanks Guys,
John (redmt)
redmt Buzz,
I have talked to Greg about heading up the project somewhat as he's pretty tied up for a while. I have crunched the #'s and come up with $16.00 per shirt, plus tax, plus shipping and plus any donation. I have also been talking to the outfit that will be doing the seps and screen making. They will cut Wounded Warriors a check also for 1/2 their charges after the screens have been made!!

Here is what we need to make this work. We need a dead minimum of 50 shirts to pay for the expense of the setups. Anything after 50 shirts increases the donations to WW. Keep in mind that the first 50 shirts contributes NOTHING EXTRA to the fund while after 50, it is nearly all profit to the fund.Of course, the donation added goes directly to WW. You don't have to buy a shirt to make a donation!

What I have done is set up an email account specifically for the orders and questions. EMAIL to woundedwarriorsshirts@gmail.com when we make our quota, I will send a reply to confirm that we can do the project.

We have requests for both white and gray shirts. Either one is fine but we need to decide on one or the other. The majority is with the grey. We could do 50 of each or more. example 67 of one and 59 of the other. It doesn't have to be exact numbers just make the minimums to hit the lower price schedules. If we were to go over 250 shirts, then there is yet another price break again.

Questions?? woundedwarriorsshirts@gmail.com

I should add that any corporate sponsorship up to $1000.00 would get this project off the ground.

This is so cool. We're on board for sure.

Hi John,

Do you have any ideas on shipping overseas (assuming UK folks are included in this - understand if not :D )

The UK Cobra Replica Club/289 Registry maybe interested in a few - although it would probably be cheaper for us to have the Ts printed in the UK (only if Buzz is agreeable to sending his artwork over for us to use and get printed in the UK?)

We also have a Charity similar to WW called Help the Heroes, so we could do a similar thing this side of the pond

cheers
Gary

This is a fund raising effort for the Wounded Warriors Project. If you wish to start another, that would be up to you.

Did you guys get my order for six shirts? I did not get a reply from the wounded warriors email. I don't want to send a second email in case it would confuse the order.

Is this match still in play? I saw my427Cobra's post of a $100 donation and I'll toss in a $50 donation with my order.

redmt 04-21-2012 10:01 PM

We're not twisting anybody's arm (much). Everybody has gone way over and above with donations. Even though this is turned into a monster project, I'm proud to say I have a hand in it.

Hi John,

I didn't get a "Got it" reply so wanted to make sure my order was received. The email was sent on April 9th and the subject was "T shirt order for Kevins2"

Thanks,

Kevin

How the heck did I miss this?
Put in an order for two + $50 donation. This is such a worthy cause. My warmest thanks to those involved in making this happen. You're the best!

Redmt, where are we on paypal...thanks Bill

redmt 04-27-2012 08:42 AM

Guys!! Here is the latest update. We have run into several glitches with both Wounded Warriors and with Pay Pal. The biggest is that we are not an authorized fund raiser. We will have to do things a little different and actually it works out a little better for you all and a little more work for me , but that's OK.

Here is the poop. I will send out a PP request from MY PP ACCOUNT. Checks/money orders are OK. You will pay that and then SEND A CHECK MADE OUT TO WOUNDED WARRIORS separately. You can send all the checks to me for a group presentation to WW or you could send them direct to them. I think it would be cool to have them all presented at once. We could also do a group tally to let everyone know how much we raised.

There are a couple advantages to doing it this way. One is that I don't go to jail for collecting donation funds illegally and the other is that your check is a receipt for your tax purposes for a donation.

So,,,,,,,,,, you'll send me xxxx dollars for the shirts through what ever method you prefer, (checks/money orders are OK). I collect the $$ for the shirts and start production. You send the $$ donation checks made out to WOUNDED WARRIORS, and probably about mid May, I start sending out about 100 separate orders!!

I will send this to each one of you along with all the information $$ you need for payment.

John

Danr55 04-27-2012 08:54 AM

Know what guys? I only ordered three shirts, but I would be happy to pay extra for Tees with pockets. Any chance of that happening?

Sorry, the print wouldn't work on the front with a pocket. We could do the "Got Snake" shirts with a pocket as those are printed in one of's. In fact I'm putting together a small order of those now. You can check those out on our web site.
