Chas, actually you got it right on both counts. Ken Pike did my last paint job, and Tom at FE Specialties built my FE short block and heads for my car. Before that I painted my own cars and put together my own motors. It was nice to have these two pros at the help when it came to my ERA. Worth every penny.

if you decide on having your motor and paint done here locally in NorCal, feel free to send me a PM, I work closely with Tom and Ken on various projects. Both aspects were completed in a specific way, and you can do the same depending on what you are looking for for your future ERA. You are welcome to check out my car too if it helps. Be sure to come to Monterey in August if you can, plenty of nice cars will be there to look at while you are waiting on your ERA order. Tell Peter and Bob I said hello.
