Sold 149 to Gary Glojek in Milwaukee area. Anyone willing to take over the registry updating? Just a simple Excel spread sheet. Probably accounts for 95+% of the cars. I have updated it with this site, ebay and general searches of the net for about six years. Mike |

Hey Ernie. Still out there? Guess what? SCCA is having their national convention in Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin this week, and they had a cruise through town on the old race route from before they built the track, and had a big car show after, downtown. I went up and happened to meet your friends from Honolulu that are the original owners of an original slab side 427. As you know they are very rare. I think only 2 or 3 left in the world. Anyway, they shipped the car to California, and drove the 2,000 miles or so to Wisconsin to attend the show in Wisconsin. I guess they do this every year. This has been a very cold spring, and they drive the northern route the whole way, with no heater! Missed a highway closing blizzard in Wyoming by 1 day. Just imagine what I loser I Felt like, when I decided it was too cold to take my Excalibur the 40 miles up there and drove my Phaeton instead! Ouch! My excuse is, the header gasget is leaking again, and I get fumes with the top on. But still, I could have put a snowmobile own and braved it out. What shame!! I heard you moved to Oregon. What’s up? First you sell your favorite car twice, and then you move from Hawaii to Oregon? Do you have commitment problems? MilwDoug |

Excaliber Cobra owner! My wife Sara Lytle and I have a cherry, 1997 Excaliber Cobra. Would love to join your group. In particular now are having problems replacing the tires. Goodyear no longer makes the original tire and the Goodrich replacements look thin and pathetic. Any suggestions on finding great, fat replacements tires? Sizes are: Goodyear Rear P255/50 Z R 16 Front 225/50 Z R 16 Thanks!!!! Fred Davis Santa Barbara CA Fdavis@strategicperception 323 860-3043 |

I have a '93 Excalibur Cobra and I'm looking to install a soft top, has anybody had luck finding a top & bow kit that fits a Excal? |

I was surprised to find such a limited selection in 16" sizes - there's even more in 15", and those are getting more limited all the time. I guess that's why many are moving to 17" or even 18" wheels. |

Excal No longer have my Excal but still have a sales flyer & The Owners Manual, anyone wanting to pay for shipping can do or deliver to San Marcos? |

Info needed I just bought #119. 1996 red and white. Looks to be stock. Does cobraduke still have the info? Email doesn't seem to work. |
|
Cobra duke has changed emails, I will email him for you. Also got your message but don't think I have much left but will look. I think I still have the front bumper & front Lic plate bracket, not sure if I trashed the paperwork or not. |

Is there any information on the factory installed security system? He's had it since 1996 and just now has problems with it. Not starting, nothing/dead, new battery did not resolve problem. Is wiring diagram available? Any other suggestions? Thanks, Ralph:MECOOL: |
|
The wiring diagram for a Classic Roadster might help but I doubt it would have anything on the Security System. If I recall correctly, the Security System was described in a small (4" X 5") black covered manual of about 30 pages - along with other General Information. I had one - at one time. If I can find it I can photo copy the pages and send it to you, I'll poke around tomorrow, BLACKJACK |

Blackjack, thanks for the effort, my buddy will be grateful. So would I, it's always more fun driving with at least another Cobra.:D Ralph:MECOOL: |

It's going to take me a few days. I'm flat on my butt with some damn flu bug. As soon as I'm up I'll start searching boxes in the shop closet. I've been wanting to do that for a few years now. I'm sure I'l find other Lost Treasures in there as well. Y'all have a really great day. BLACKJACK |
