I ended up putting in seats from a RHD Civic Del Sol. Fabric covered, side bolsters and lumbar supports - way better that the original West Coast seats.

Default "Cobra" Seats for your AC Cobra

I did not know that! Is there an aftermarket for old Corvette seats?

Lou, You want to stay away from adjusters on your seats. Recaro, and regular car seats like mentioned in this post etc.. The adjuster sticks out on the side and eats up room you don't have. You'll have to rework the seat and remove the adjuster unless it's placed behind the seat. I've been down this road before.

"Cobra" is a seat manufacturer and they sell seats which I used. Mine are the Classic CS with head restraint. These look pretty good and vintage AC Cobra style with the option of head restraints. 18" wide. In the group of seats on this page, there are different seats, not just colors. I thought they were all the same seat at first.

Another option is the Corbeau Classic (Corbeau: Classic Bucket). While I like the seat, I don't want vinyl seating surfaces. When I spoke to the folks at Corbeau they said they'd build me a pair with fabric seat and vinyl bolsters and trim (like their Classic II) for the same price. The only downside is the seats would take 10-12 weeks to be built, but it's still a good option.

BTW, the Corbeau Classic is available in black leather in the U.K. (Corbeau Classic Seat - Leather - Ears Motorsport) with black or white piping. I have not asked Corbeau U.S.A. whether they're also available in leather in North America.

BTW, their seat adjusters are in front, not side mounted, so no problem in a Cobra.

Default Another Option

Fully Adjustable back with a control knob & on sliders & I managed to get them straight rather than the angled to each side but car is A Lonestar & might have a touch more room?
I can dig up PN if interested?
