Say Hello to my Little Friend
My wife and I adopted this english Mastiff a few months ago.
He was close to starvation, but after a diet of four hamburger patties and two cans of mixed veggies TWICE a day for three months he is starting to fill out.
I am thinking him along when I take the Cobra for a drive. That way if I break down he can tow me home.

Who needs horsepower when you have him along!
Great dog! My wife doesn't like them, though.

Now that's my idea of a dog! My girl wants one of those little pocket dogs, over my dead body Does he fit in the car?

I'm not sure about what to name him. I was thinking about Weber.
He does not like to get into the car. I'm not sure why, but I suspect that he does not like small block fords. Guess I should have gone with an FE

Muffler does not seems to fit. Maybe you can call it backfire so that if something smells you can blame the dog and say "well I named him right." I don't think it's a SB problem. Those pipes really make even the best guard dog run and hide. I think Hal has a good dog that is used to the cobra. I always like having a " Real" dog not a yap dog.
I'm taking the loss on Saturday on the chin I can hear the critic now- "Fire Tubby" I say phuck you goto another school.

We used to have a Malamute mix (looked like he was mixed with a LARGE wolf). This was a big dog. We had a harness made for him and he used to pull the formula ford all over the place. Driver, fuel and all. Uphills, he didn't care. He loved it! His name was Cujo. Many people kept his distance.
Don't call him Carroll or Shelby for that matter, that is cruel!

I just watched scarface on dvd and when I saw the thread "say hello to my little friend" I think he should be called Tony after Tony Montana in the movie. Tony didn't take much S#@! and the dog looks tough as well. thanks

With the white paint, you'll certainly know if he decides it's "his" car!

Geez, with a dog that size I would keep a saddle in the trunk. If the car ever broke down just ride the dog home. A friend had a unusually large white lab named Hooper. When he was up on his hind legs he was taller than me at 6'5". Hooper was not exactly a dog rocket scientist and the closest he could come to being a guard dog was to drown you in slobber and crush you when he sat on you.

Well, along TRULARIN's idea -- one of my (three) golden retreiver's names is Shelby. Doesn't quite fit the mastiff, though...

With this friend along, you don't need your other two friends, Mr. Smith & Mr. Wesson, do you?

Thank you Roger and Jack,
She is the best car alarm I've ever had although she is the sweetest thing and no one dares. That's why my other friends are Herr Heckler and Herr Koch, just in case.

Well,
I'm sorry to report that we had to say goodbye to our Little Friend a few years ago.
However, in the mean time we have retired to a small farm and have a new dog.
This is Mo.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGUuaFj402c
He is a Great Pyrenees and his mission will be to guard our ducks and chickens.
That will come later. For now he is having fun being a puppy.
