Yes, the did, especially on FE engines. I got one off an earlier FE engine to put on my 427 W code GT-E when I was in high school.

These orange hoses may be a temporary solution to bypass using a PCV without the correct parts for rear of FE intake. The opening back there looked like it was a at least a couple of inches and had a removable cover on 1968 and never model manifolds.

Maybe the dress up kit for engine did not include it.
