The response that I made was due to a posters remark that the Cobra in question was not built as a competition Cobra when in fact it was, the reason for the completion tag intstead of the typical AC tag that the Cobra came with. Further evidence that the Cobra was built as a competition Cobra rather than a street Cobra with a Stage 3 engine option.

Yes, 2416 was completed by the race shop at SA, but based on the many items on the car that would be on a street car and not on a competition car and lacking several elements that would normally be on a competition car, it simply is the highest optioned street car produced. The factory invoice does not mention the car being any kind of competition car.
