Here's a more direct link. I read "The Last Map to the Throne of God" and it was pretty good, so I'll probably pick this one up as well. Does this story have anything to do with the last one?

No, it is a novella. It is about an alien that is stranded on Earth for 11161 years and makes some observations as he shares some people's lives with the reader.
It is a nice mix of shorts that allows the reader to read to a stopping point and then pick it up later.

This will be a bit different in that the entire book is narrated by an alien whos ship is disquised as a Blue Bottle Fly.
