In need of some bracket pictures (hard top)
The search did not revealed anything usable. I'm looking for the hard top brackets and/or mounts.
Bruce made me a sun top shell. Now I need to see how to mount it.
Any pictures out there??
Thanks
...it is for this one....

You mean the top mounts for the windshield or for the body?
I think I have a couple that show the how it mounts on the body behind the window opening. I'll have to look on my home computer tonight.

I think the original used a strap or turnbuckle that went from the inside of the hardtop to the soft-top socket on each side.

Pete , get sum small machine scuz, grind the heads flat on 2 sides, slide 'em into the channel in the top of your windshield frame, Allen B has them like that holding his lemans top on, tested at 130 mph, and his top didn't blo off. maybe he has a pichur

Of course I couldn't find the ones I had saved but I did find these on a Kirkham.
The part you can't see has a tab that runs back on top of the top lip.

I also ran across this windshield latch, though I personally like Nicks mount better. Just another idea.

Unistrut has a spring nut that will work. Buy the #10 nut without the spring. Electrical & mech. supply houses have them. They will fit in the top slot of the windscreen.

hard top hardware
you can turn down the head on a 5/8" x 2" stainless bolt till it's .2" thick and round. See the picture.
Then you can drill and tap a 5/16" hole in it. Drill a hole in the body of the Cobra, per the picture.
Use a washer and nut on the bottom side.
Take a 5/16" bolt, I think, 1 1/2" long and weld half a washer onto it to make a wing nut.
Drill your holes in the top and use the 5/16" bolt and washer to hold it down. I done it on a couple of Cobras. We first tried the clamp thing but this worked better.
The stainless can be polished and look like they belong on the car.
