I have used a Snap-on/Blue Point pneumatic orbital with 3M orange pads. It works fine but it's honestly no easier than doing the work by hand, IMO.
A few years ago I started using Zaino products and I have to say they: (1) are super easy to apply and take off (they claim you can even do it in the sun), (2) look great, and (3) last a really long time, especially for cars that aren't daily driven. There are a lot of waxes/protectants that look great, but the ease of use for the Zaino stuff is the top benefit for me.
