Early ERA or Contemporary given the fake knock offs used and the rolled cockpit edges shown.

I watched that in 1080p. You can see a safety wire to the knockoff spinner. However, I remember Bill having an ERA at one point that had fake knockoffs, and I did not realize it until he mentioned it. I think Bill would be able to identify ERA style fake knockoffs (assuming he watched the video in high res).

I believe the 'rolled edge' means that the fiber glass mimics how on an aluminum body, the aluminum would be bent around the cockpit tubing. Stop at 0:10 and look at the stripes at the back of the cockpit.

They are not, they are identical to the bolt on wheels with hubcap and spinner to hold them on from the early ERA and Contemporary Cobra. The body lines, dash layout, angle and set up, along with the rolled edges of the body all scream one or the other as they both used them early on.

obviously i am ignorant of US cobra rep details, but is there a giveaway on those wheels, or is the fakery implied from features elsewhere on the car?

I think a lot of folk in the UK would abs love to see fake knock-offs that good - if i could buy those, id have discarded the trigoes and got those. way better than any other fake knock-on wheels ive seen before, including TeamIIIs.

Here you go, the wheels/rims are fake knock offs that were on ERA188 when I purchased it out of Florida in 2008 from the second owner. I had attempted to purchase this car from the original owner 8 years prior, also in Florida at that time.

Pretty realistic looking now aren't they.

I just happened to have closed-caption on when this commercial came on, and the caption of the joke said "(translated from cantonese) You still owe him five bucks."
