Thinking about solid lifters

There are excellent examples today of solid rollers Isky has them with pressure fed bushings that can take spring pressures over a 1000lbs.
For years ran solids in all my hot rodded Harleys and for years adjusted them a lot tighter than reccommended.Once the motor warmed up the sound was music to my ears.Always remember all motors stretch when warm.
Always loved hearing the solid tappet motors even with a little too much clearance.
