Regarding the 2013/2014 GT-500...

A point of clarity.....All in there will be about 7000-7300 built. Totally different animal than the previous cars-no comparison.

Having both is ideal. I'm lucky in that respect. ..But if you want to consistently push either car to its limits (drag, road race, etc,...) the 2014 will keep you alive longer....and you can even put 2 other humans in the back , if required...and it is equal or better than any roadster at most owner's skill level in any comparison of performance. It is easy enough to drive given its 8 different modes of launch control, traction control and stability control, 2 different suspension settings and 3 different steering settings (all with a touch of a button), internal 1/4 mile, 0-30, 0-60, 0-100 and braking G performance timers to make even the average driver good at both the drag strip and the road course. If you are one of those guys who just putt putt around, then all of that capability is irrelevant anyway.

If your buying any of these cars for some appreciation factor, your wasting your resources. Buy a CSX 2XXX or 3XXX or a Ford GT if a car investment is your thing.

My point in the initial post is that the 2013/14 GT 500 is a spectacular car and the guy would not be disappointed if he pulled the trigger on it.

Nothing else to it
