Welcome to the site..I may have what you're looking for. I have some 16" compomotive wheels that I can no longer use. I have to find a new set of wheels for mine unfortunately. I'll go look out in my barn when I get the chance and see what I've got. If you want to send an email to me at jenninrk@jmu.edu with your mailing address ect. I'll see what I can do.

i have the same wheels, there are no sources for a replacement except used.

they can be copied by any competent aluminum casting shop. cost will be the issue there.

I am in the same boat as Bugman. A set of 16" wheels with all of the extras but can’t find a matching set of tires in the size that I want. Not willing to let one spinner go but if you have anything else that is trade-able and comparable (sp) $ wise--------.

Howdy,

I have 3 of, but with 1 tiny grub screw holding them in place.
1 is broken.
But if they suit they are yours for free!
Send me an email with photo, and I will send you a photo, not good at uploading on this site!

Actually that is not the one if Jim's has the three screws holding them in. The one that FWB posted looks to be held in by an o-ring, not screws.

Also, the one that Bugman has probably is not the same either if it has a single "grub" screw.

They might be able to be modified, but you will have to have all four for it to look right.

Default That's It

I have the same wheels as yours (Comp's) and took off one of the knockoff's to compare to the photo. Mine look exactly like the photos posted, including the recessed groove, and are held in with three small Allen screws.

Terry, the three set screws are threaded into the wheel around the hub they protrude into the center and catch the groove in the spinner so they don't accidentally fly off.....some are like mine and there are others that have three sockethead cap screws on the face that thread into the wheel. into the holes shown on the face of the hub

the aluminum casting foundry here can sand cast these from a sample, i would do this if i knew i could actually sell them, the little bit of machining on the back side is a simple lathe operation.....i would have to make at least 50 to keep the foundry happy on pricing

a tidbit of advise for the set screws, order some long set screws in stainless and keep a bunch of them, the hex gets worn quick from the wrench and its best to keep them new to avoid loosing the spinner or not being able to get the set screw out

FWB,

Got it. I can see one of the set screw holes. Mine have the three cap screws. Learn something new every day.
