Hi Patrick,

I bought an "adjustable height" air cleaner assembly from ERA and Doug indicated I should leave 3/8" clearance for engine torque. So, given that it sounds like you have about half an inch to play with... and actually, mine is a 14" diameter, so you may have even a bit more room due to the smaller diameter.
