Hello fellas I am new to this. I would some help on purchasing my first cobra. There is a 1999 cobra with 118k conv. Being sold at my local used dealership for 8800 and I wanted to know if that is to many miles or is the price to high. Also are conv. to expensive to maintain without a garage ( I live in California) It won't be a drag car just my daily driver if I was to buy it. Thanks for your help.

The average fighter pilot, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. These feelings just don't involve anybody else.
118,000 miles isn't too many if the owner took care of the car. Best thing to do would be to take the car to a separate shop for a pre purchase inspection (PPI) to have it properly checked out. If the car was beat on then 50k miles could be too many, but a well cared for car could be fine beyond 150k. At least get a Car Fax report to make sure that it hasn't been in a wreck and if you are lucky the service history.
Good luck with whatever direction you chose.
