Please update with your results. I'm interested to know if the stuff can help protect. An important aspect is peeling it off after it's been pelted with rocks and sand.

I have it on the work bench, but haven't applied it yet. Been busy.

I've used something similar but it comes in black and it was from Griot's. Had it on for over 2 years and decided to remove it with no problem at all, just peeled up an edge and off it came. I reapplied it a little thicker this time and it's still on.
