For compound curves I recommend a detailed study of any Playboy centerfold. As for a written explanation of that force of nature....I'll get back to you.....

Thanks for the good laugh! I even have a meanwhile very expensive book from him.

My favorite myth is that "all 427 Cobras came with a side-oiler 427..."

My second favorite is that any Cobra at all came with Goodyear Billboards...Guys are fighting on other threads about what tire to use and what is correct. I just shake my head...

The myth that is you put a Chevy motor in a Cobra replica it will lower the resale value or make it harder to sell, what a pant load that is.

If you are a Ford guy, that is fantastic (the FE is a great motor) but put what you want in your HotRod .

So if you're putting in a Chevy, might as well go all the way with mud flaps and a 'coon tail.

I said this on another loop but I think it will fit right in here. To the Ford only in a Cobra crowd, the I want to live the dream crowd, the I have duplicated the correct number of rivets on my scoop crowd, I got the exact color as the team color of the championship season crowd, I have to have Goodyear on my tire crowd, I tracked down the company who made the windshield wipers from 1963 crowd and on and on. To this crowd a Chevy engine in a Cobra replica may be the kiss of death. But to the I am a car guy, I am a HotRod guy, to the it is not what you buy it is what you build guy, to the I want the best performance for my dollar guy, I want the best performance PERIOD guy, To the I am a Chevy guy, to the I want to able to buy parts at my local Advanced Auto guy, to the I am in Australia and GM is the best choice to get by government regulation guy. To all those guy's the Chevy in the Cobra replica is a BONUS.

Thank you mdross1
I can attest to this. Going for a 45 mile drive through the foothills is real therapy for me.

That's the generally accepted line. The C was a continuation of the A and B series of chassis. Although that seems to have been abandoned with the Mk.III, which should probably have been a D prefix chassis number.
