Damage at a car show can happen anywhere. My brother has a '68 GTO and was helping out at a GTO car show. A lady pushing a stroller was paying attention to her second child walking with her and sideswiped a GTO, putting a deep 6" scratch on the rear fender.

Fighting around a show car is stupid, but going to any show carries an element of risk.
