I think you do have one of the very special continuation cars (1000 series) that can claim to be be the second closest relatives to the originals (I consider the McCluskeys to be first), and I think they are in a class all by them selves. I saw one of them being delivered to SAI when they were up at the race track and it was simply gorgeous seeing this filed aluminum body on the open truck (presumably from a railyard). Then talked about the remaining transformation to bring it to finished roller. It's a lot of work!
