Well, I'm glad to know that I'm in good company and that I'm not the only one who has moments of brain fade

I'm enjoying reading others experiences with the sidepipes. I'm starting to appreciate the under-car exhaust systems.

Wish I had known about the insulation you had done on your pipes about a month earlier. I just paid a pretty good sum to have mine ceramic coated and I'm pretty sure the SPF pipes would have to be cut open and re-welded to do the insulation.

I'm pretty impressed that you actually KNOW the temps of your pipes. I suppose I could assume that mine are somewhere in the ballpark of those temps. Kind of explains why those skin transplants happen so FAST
