Default A new hunt.

Thought we had found the over sized cobra my friend wanted....Hundreds of flying miles, likewise for driving miles and it unexpectedly failed the test.

So, still looking for a turnkey CR or CR II. Just about decided to build one for him if we can't get any of the turnkey guys to let one loose in his price range- which is NOT low! (Never saw a market like this before-damn!)

Also looking seriously at a full kit (must have CMOS!), partially built will certainly be entertained!

The following are certainly 'plus's', soft top, special wheels, roll bar, upgraded suspension, steering, etc.

If engine, tranny are incorporated, must have 400 HP plus, 5 or 6 spd manual.

Thanks
DV

There's a very nice Lonestar on Cobra Country. Lonestars are extended wheelbase (94").

Default I have a new Factory Five with a Wipple Supercharger I'm selling

I have a mint Factory Five MK-IV (2010 body built in 2011) that was Pro built and tuned and dyno'ed at Mr. Norm's in Chicago last year I would like to sell. I am 6'2" and fit fine , but I don't think it is a long wheel base car.

It is powered by a new Ford SVT 2003 Terminator 4.6 alloy block, Terminator Alloy heads and cam, Wipple 2.3 Supercharger, long tube headers and side piped with O2 sensors and Tremac five speed . (I have two sized spools, pulleys and belts that will drop the Hp to around 540). The car is absolutely stunning and built to perfection with over $ 72,000 spent. Viper Metallic Blue with white stripes. Too much to mention until I create a proper classified ad.

Currently running the small spool and is dyno (Mr. Norm's) @ 674.3hp (at the rear wheels) and 662 of torque. It is actually as drivable as a Honda, but can get as wild as you would like. Full SVT Racing gauges, GPS speedo, push button start, everything is just beautifully done. and currently 625 miles. It is registered and titled as a 1965 Ford. Ready to let it go.

Email or PM.

Sorry for the delAYED response. In Ohio visiting a sick daughter.

Very, very nice. Have been in contact with LS, and this one certainly looks like investing some time with.
Do you have first hand knowledge of this car?

Saw this local to me here in the St Louis area, it is a Classic Roadster, a little short on hp but that would be easy to correct. I can check it out for you if interested. By the way, what is CMOS?

CMOS
Certificate of Manufacturers Origin Statement .

What every new kit get as a 'birth certificate' and when sold it is usually forfeited to the registering State.

Normally I would jump at your offer but since the buyer said, 'out of budget' kind of makes any inspection mute. But thanks!

That is a well done 'very' early CR kit. 20 plus years since some of those options shown were available!

Are we are talking about the same car?, the car in St. Louis is listed at $39,900. I think he was commenting on the Lone Star in CC.

Default CR 427 available

Hey DV!
I am considering selling my CR. You may remember it, it was built in your shop about the time whats his name took over. I had lowered the floors 2-1/4" so that I could look through the windshield not over it (I am 6'-2").
It has a 331 stroker motor/5-speed in it.
If you think your friend might be interested let me know. The car is at our place in Florida.
Mike H
