I've bought a few odds and ends from suppliers outside ERA (including a few from Mickmate who is highly recommended - still looking for those street car fan assemblies to become available Nick) such as expansion tank, windshield washer bottle, street roadster gas cap, some engine/transmission components, wheels (from Bob at Vintage Wheels who is also highly recommended), mufflers, and shifter for example. But for the most part I ordered the major options from ERA. Most of the options will come pre-fitted on your car so you know they will fit and work and they are of high quality. I ordered some of the more expensive options like side curtains, fabric top, etc, separate from the car in case I have to supply my ERA invoice to the State for tax purposes at registration.
In qualification - I'm building my own car including painting so I will be responsible for fitting some of these items (side curtains and top as examples). If I was ordering a turn-key car from them then it makes sense to order all options at the time of purchase so that they are properly fitted prior to painting and installed at the time of delivery.
Enjoy the experience. ERA has a great car.
