Default 1964 427 Engine FOUND! What do I do with it???
So I know very little about 1960’s Cobras… however, I recently inherited an original 1964 427FE Engine (C4AE- 6090-H). The engine was originally installed into a ‘Luxury Regent Speed Boat’ (go figure…) and has not been changed since removed from the boat. It will need some new parts to go into a Cobra but based on my research, this is the engine which would be original equipment for a 1964-65 3100 Series low-riser Cobra. It was packed away in storage for most of its life and is in great condition. I had a shop lube it up and get it running, here is a video of it from a few months ago: 1964, 427 Cobra Jet - YouTube
If anyone has any advice on where to find an appropriate buyer please let me know! (I am located near Chicago) Any info or help would be much appreciated!!!
