Default new to forum please help

looking to purchase an AC Cobra but need help please
told it was an original AC Cobra but the vin# DRF94560 makes no sense, what is it. looks correct aluminum body, 427 side oiler engine, gauges, large fuel tank. etc. but the vin puzzles me.
this is all new to me so I am researching and asking for advice before a major purchase.
Thank You

Could be a Kirkham, Kimmons, or any number of aluminum bodies reproductions.

Do you have pictures of the engine compartment, door hinges, VIN plate, and the main frame rails?

the DRF is an old California designation for state issued Vin numbers it was before the current blue tags they use now. they were issued to special constructed vehicles, from motorcycles to cars, dune buggies etc....

so that vin really just says it was registered in CA as a special constructed vehicle.....without pics of the car to verify what it is? its a guess...

Yeah, we need some pictures. How much is the seller asking for the car?
