Just got back home for Christmas and the New Year.

Mmmm someone has to open my presents and organise the New Year Party..

SEMA was exceptional and the main hall never ceases to amaze with the variety of parts, suppliers and general exhibitors.

I also had a great time outside checking out all the display cars.

We headed over to or down to Pomona for the NHRA racing as I was with some race team owners. It was fantastic to catch up with my fiends from Australia that are still campaigning their Funny Car.

Came home with a cinema upgrade package called the Butt Kicker. And have just wired it all into my home cinema and placed the units under my chairs. An amazing sensation being bounced around watching car racing or simulating flights.

Mmmm may have to get some of those funny movies to watch. I am keen to see what sensation you get from the Butt Kicker then.. Mmmm think I will leave that alone.

It was good to get back home.

I am over in Florida in late March and think we spend a few weeks in Florida then NY before heading to France.

I hope everyone has a great New Year there.

Rick in NY in mid March then onto France for three weeks. Then UK until late April.

But I am then back in Orlando Florida, on the 28th of April for four days.

Then with my son onto LA for a few days. To Scottsdale via Palm Springs.

Keen to hear and thoughts on must visit locations, cruises and shops.

Hi mate.

Yes Hershal has been kind enough to ask me back a few times and unfortunately I am with others and don't want to just drop by.

Later this year I am heading to Texas and will get to a few events. I will catch up for sure.

I want to travel as much as possible and have been doing a lot over here with two big road trips in the Kirkham up the east coast of Australia and also over into South Australia regularly.

SEMA was always on my bucket list as was the NHRA funny car and Fuel car events. I was lucky enough to travel with a group of guys who have a big team over here so it was good to get a real understanding of the competition racing. First hand building engines and clutches etc.

Late April and May will be with my son Todd and he is keen on the whole Street Rod scene so we are catching up with Duane from American Street Rods - Coddington factory supervisor.

Also, Todd has a list of shops SOCAL etc and cruise nights on his must do list.

So a fantastic opportunity to travel with Todd.

Mmmm yes I have managed to avoid work..
