I'm interested in the terminator results also. What motor/specs are you putting it on?

Going on a Ford Racing 427 they rate at 535hp. We will run it on our Dynojet. Only hook is the transmission will be an automatic.

I've used three systems on six different installs. I'm by no means an expert but here's my $0.02

Fast 2.0 TBI is pretty easy to install, did not come with fuel pump relay harness. If they had given more info we could have easily made one up. Self learning wasn't very impressive. The handheld is pretty intuitive and let me do what I needed. On one of the two installs, we had a map sensor DOA, ordered another DOA from fast, and just got one from a parts store. Not a big deal really.

MSD I really wanted to like this one, we tried returnless, and attempted to meet all the requirements laid out in their info. However as far as I've dug it seems that it is only compatible with their pump, which doesn't fit well in a tanks Inc setup, and they won't disclose any further info, as its "proprietary". (there is a 10khz signal backfeeding out of the unit when the fuel pump is used in PWM mode, affecting the ignition and other electronics) Conventional return system worked fine, self learning was impressive. The length of the harnesses may be a factor on some installs. I.E. the handheld extension is pretty short. I have another sitting here uninstalled with a slightly longer cable for the handheld.

Megasquirt 2, have done 3 and haven't had any problems. One used fox mustang harness and efi, worked great. One was on a dodge truck with a chevy TBI, worked great. The other is on an old mustang using a fast TBI and works great. Yes there is a learning curve. There is also a LOT of support, IMO more than I've gotten with MSD or FAST. The self tune works well and if it doesn't I can fix as needed. Setting the cold start and idle attributes takes some time and practice.

All that said, I'm very interested in the Holley system but haven't had my hands on one. they've been doing some form of efi for a long time so I would hope for some great things.

I have the FAST EZ on my 408W and it runs fine except when you left off the gas and coasting it likes to "POP" - throws beautiful flames at night!

The pro m support is good I have been a pain for Chris but he always picks up the the phone. My car was burnt and I only need parts of system to fix it. He has been big help. It runs my meth and nos it controls eng fans there are a lot of perks. It also controls the spark. It's all about the support after the sale and he is very knowledgeable u can tell by talking to him. Just my 2cents

Default Terminator

I have the Terminator on my Ford Crate 427 with X heads. Started right up. I had an intermittent idle issue which when I reprogrammed cleared up. I can wholeheartedly recommend this system. I have not had "factory " support but there is a factory guy who monitors their forum so you get almost instant answers. I am not a carb guy so wanted something a little user friendly. I have the laptop hookup but the little handheld works very well.
I do not have any experience with any others but felt really comfortable with a Holley product.
I think they are coming out with a cheaper alternative shortly but would stick with the Terminator. That is what is used on Nascar vehicles. Henry
