Seems like the dual would provide more protection especially if you had a passenger?
The original cars that had roll bars were all designed for racing and had no passengers. If they were racing with passengers, there would have been either two bars or one long one.

Personally, I find the natural symmetry of two bars more appealing than one. It's like the difference between fine RayBans and a monocle. You see? Here's a shot of my car with but one roll bar....

In your opinion. We all have them. Symmetry?? Cars with 2 bars look stupid, cars with one long one look stupid. The correct look is one roll bar. You bought the car for the "look", and all that goes with it,,,, don't chinse it up.

Besides, having 2 tells the world that a"girly man " owns it !

Bingo, I have two roll bars because my wife made me put two in. She loves riding in the car as much as I do. And since I like riding her, two roll bars!
Happy wife............

agree- i have one rollbar, I'm probably going to have to go to two: I cant get the wife to ride with me (doesnt make sense as she has a 56 T-bird with NO rollbars, but hey, who said the fairer sex ever made sense...

Kudos to you for the rollbar/Col. Klink analogue. Very nice.
