Looking for Silver Unique Cobra

Hello,

My name is Matt Flesher, I'm looking for my Dad's 1965 Unique Motorcars Silver and Black 427 S/C Cobra. My Dad has since passed and my brother and I would like to buy it back from the current owner if possible. From what I understand it was sold to someone in the Chicago area from whom we sold it to in Oklahoma. The VIN # 4279381 and was last titled in 2006 according to the Illinois DMV. Does anyone know of this cobra with any contact information of the current owner? Any help would be appreciated!

You could try contacting the Weaver family, owners/operators of Unique Motorcars, to see whether they have any info on the current location of this car. It's possible that the current owner has been in touch with them to order parts or whatever.

We talked to the Weavers and he said the last owner of the cobra he talked to was guy who had it in Oklahoma. We also had a current VIN check in Illinois and it has not been registered since 2006 so it is probably not in the state anymore. Back to square one, HA!
