"One of the areas overlooked by replica manufacturers is the rocker panels, which tend to be straight lines, which would be hidden by side pipes." On Eddie's car we are constructing the slight belly that is apparent on the originals.

That's great - looking good. How did you finish off the back side of the front wheel flares to reduce them? I know you cut some of the lower part back - did you then fiberglass the area back in with less flare to close back up the radius of the opening?

Dan we first cut the front flare rear section using a template off my ERA 148 then glassed in a return flange again like on the earlier ERA's

Anyone know what this is? Eddie found it on eBay :-)

Default 427 Narrow Hip Cobra starts now!!

The slight belly enhances the shape and its a shame to hide it with side pipes, I have added the belly into straight sill cars I have built.
