Default Spats?

Does anyone know where I can finds a set of leather/pleather spats for a SPF? I'm too late for the 3M clear and don't want the carbon fiber or any stick on type? I went to my local auto upholster and he had no idea what I was talking about.

Thanks

I'm looking for some too.
In the meantime, a $5.00 can of plastidip can get you by.
Just peel them off when you're done with them.

ERA has a really nice set that covers a lot of area. Easy to install.

QUOTE...Maybe one of us near you could let you take one of ours to an upholstery shop?
Not much to it.

Miller place long island. I have some vinyl laying around. Maybe I could make a pattern and have them seam and back it. If your around here I'll try that first.
Thanks

Call HRE and speak to Billy Andrews. He restores original Cobras and fits out Continuation series Cobras and works on and services them and replicas too like SPF. He has made spats and will make you a set.

I did some fitting with material I had laying around. (will do it in black)I may go tomorrow and ask my interior guy to seam the edges ,add some felt backing , velcro the edges and add a loop. I wonder what he would charge. I have all the material. What do you think

What do these serve, are they just cosmetic?

That area of the fender is prone to getting chipped up. Spats help protect the paint.

As for what I'm trying to do is hide and prevent anymore chips. The last owners never protected the fenders and are pretty chipped up.
